It appears that the previously announced “Timecode” DVD from Columbia TriStar Home Video will be released in 1.33:1 full screen format, per the director’s wishes. The film was projected theatrically in a 1.78:1 format (consisting of four 1.78:1 quadrant images projected simultaneously).

“Timecode”, directed by Mike Figgis (“Leaving Las Vegas”, “Miss Julie”), and starring Stellan Skarsgard, Saffron Burrows, Salma Hayek and Jeanne Tripplehorn, will be released on October 10th. The disc will feature Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Surround soundtracks and include both the theatrical “take” plus an alternate version, audio commentary by Figgis, a Mike Figgis Video Diary, a making-of featurette, cast & crew bios, an interactive audio mix and a trailer.

The retail price will be $24.95.
