The next Scooby-Doo adventure on DVD is just around the corner

Did you know that “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?” is one of the longest running animated series in television history? To further support Scooby-Doo’s popularity, Warner Home Video has new revealed details about the sleuth-dog’s upcoming release of the next adventure on DVD. On October 3, Warner Home Video will release Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders on a disc that includes a variety of special features.

The feature-length film “Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders” is a cosmic case of UFOs, intergalactic intrigue and out-of-this-world romance, which launches Scooby, Shaggy and the Mystery, Inc. kids into their most unearthly adventure ever! Stranded in a remote desert town, the gang soon discovers the place is crawling with flying saucer buffs, secret scientists … and less-than-friendly extra-terrestrials! Then, after being chased by ornery aliens and beamed aboard a UFO, something even weirder happens to Shaggy and Scooby – they fall head-over-heels for a beautiful photographer and her captivating canine companion! Now, as clues to the mystery of the alien invaders lead from a top-secret government research base to a huge network of caves hidden under the town, our love-struck heroes join the rest of the gang in a race to crack a case that re-defines the term “far out!”

Apart from the feature presentation, the DVD will also include a “Making Of” Featurette for the movie, as well as for the Scooby-Doo video game. Interactive game demos, and Scooby’s Steps to solve a mystery will also be found on the disc, together with sneak peeks of other Scooby-Doo videos and family DVDs. The disc will be rounded off with some exciting Mystery, Inc. Biographies.

Warner is also creating a dedicated Scooby-Doo website and starting September 15, fans can log on to www.scoobydoo.com to get a sneak preview of “Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders,” hear music from the soundtrack, see a special behind-the-scenes trailer of the movie and participate in live chats with Scooby and the gang.
