The DV-770U is equipped with a built-in Dolby® Digital Audio Decoder (5.1 channels and Dolby Pro Logic), enabling viewers to experience theatre-like sound in the home, and DTS compatibility to maximize the high quality surround sound now available in many pre-recorded DVDs. In addition, Sharp’s exclusive Digital Gamma Correction function, Digital Super Picture with Enhanced Noise Reduction and Dolby Virtual Surround (Q Sound) are all standard on the DV-770U. These features provide consumers with an outstanding level of picture clarity, exquisite sound and convenience right at their fingertips. For effortless control of all home entertainment equipment, a universal remote control is included. The DV-770U is available now for a suggested retail price of $299.99.

Both the DV-710U and DV-770U offer Sharp’s exclusive Digital Gamma Correction technology that automatically enhances picture quality by adjusting the color values in dim areas according to the brightness of the video image. This provides a clearer picture, allowing viewers to enjoy movies in all types of lighting environments, even extremely bright rooms. Digital Super Picture is another Sharp exclusive feature that increases the sharpness level of DVD software to enhance overall picture quality. Digital Super Picture also reduces noise that is present in video CDs and other AV media, for crisp and detailed images.
