Sterling Home Entertainment brings you Pushkin’s story of Onegin

Sterling Home Entertainment has just unveiled details about the upcoming release of Onegin. Scheduled to hit retail shelves on July 11 as part of Sterling’s Millenium Edition, “Onegin” is the classic story of a playboy whose relationship with a young girl leads to events so horrifying they threaten to destroy everything they have ever known. The movie is based on the classic novel by Alexander Pushkin and stars Ralph Fiennes and Liv Tyler.

The special edition DVD will feature a 16×9 enhanced widescreen transfer of the movie with a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio track. A behind-the-scenes montage and 4 featurettes will also be found on the disc, as well as interviews with the director and the cast. A photo gallery, a trivia game, selected biographies and a number of trailers are also part of the release, as well as some DVD-ROM features, such as the screenplay with scene access and weblinks.

“Onegin” will carry a suggested retail price of $29.95 when it will be released on July 11.
