Express.com recognized as the nation’s largest online DVD retailer

Express.com – or DVD Express as it had formerly been known – has been a supporter of “DVD Review” for a very long time and today, the company has been achieving another milestone in its history being officially recognized as a leading force in the Internet retail market.

This month, Express.com was recognized as the nation’s largest online DVD retailer by Video Store Magazine, outselling both Amazon.com and Reel.com. In the Video Store Magazine report, Express.com was ranked sixth in overall DVD sales, following the country’s largest offline merchants: Best Buy, Circuit City, Musicland, Blockbuster and Wal-Mart.

“We have always believed that we were the leading Web destination for buying DVDs, and Video Store Magazine has reaffirmed our position,” said Michael Dubelko, founder and CEO of Express.com. “Express.com continually strives to achieve customer satisfaction through our competitive prices, expansive DVD offering, reliable delivery and quality service.”

Video Store Magazine’s annual Top 100 issue, which hit the newsstands April 9, rated DVD retailers, mass merchants and electronics chains. The rankings were based on financial performance and conducted by Video Store Magazine through analysis of the company’s reported sales reports, with additional surveys and questionnaires used to round out the information.
