Columbia TriStar Home Video brings you more from The Bear In The Big Blue House

Columbia TriStar Home Video has announced the release of three additional episodes of Jim Henson’s The Bear In The Big Blue House on August 1. Continuing their series of releases of the show, this installment called “The Bear In The Big Blue House – Shapes, Sounds and Colors With Bear” features the three episodes “A Wagon of A Different Color, ” “Shape of A Bear” and “Listen Up.”

In “A Wagon of A Different Color” it is a colorful day at the Big Blue House when Bear’s friends turn his old red wagon into a dazzling masterpiece. In “Shape Of Bear,” viewers can have fun with Ojo, Pip and Pop – “Shape Explorers” – as they discover a wonderful world of shapes in everything they see! In “Listen Up,” tune in for an earful of adventure at the Big Blue House! Ojo’s set up a pretend camp. But something’s missing, the sounds of the great outdoors! So Bear takes his friends on a real camp-out at the Otter Pond. The chorus of critters is music to everyone’s ears.

The disc will also contain the four Sing-Alongs, “Shape of A Bear,” “What’s in the Mail Today?” “Some of the Colors I See” and “Listen Up.”

“The Bear In The Big Blue House – Shapes, Sounds and Colors With Bear” will be released in a fullscreen format with a stereo audio track. Running 75 minutes, the DVD will carry a $24.95 price tag when it will be released on August 1.
