Next week, MGM Home Entertainment will release Paul Verhoeven’s controversial movie experience Showgirls on DVD. The erotic movie takes you behind-the-scenes into the life of Las Vegas showgirls and their struggle to make it in glitzi Sin City. From lap dancer to showgirl diva, the film shows the rivalry and battle for the spotlight in a seductive and passionate extravaganza.

Presented in a non-anamorphic widescreen transfer, the disc contains a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio track, as well as a Dolby Surround track in English and Spanish. The release also contains a “Behind-the-scenes” featurette and the movie’s original theatrical trailer, as well as some printed production information.

Matching the glamorous Vegas-style of the movie, the menus present themselves just as stylish and nicely animated.
