The box office success Next Friday is currently in production for home video and DVD release at New Line Home Video. Scheduled to hit the streets on June 6, this “urban” movie even receives New Line’s Platinum Edition special edition treatment. As a result, the disc will contain a large number of bonus features, and you will find an alternate ending, a blooper reel, film storyboards, two music videos and Mike Epps’ audition tape on this release. The movie will be presented in a 16×9 enhanced widescreen transfer with a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio track.

In other news, we have also been able to find out that New Line Home Video is currently preparing three House Party movies for release on June 6, too.
