Warner Home Video unveils first DTS titles for release in June

Information just came in about a number of new Warner Home Video releases scheduled for June. The most interesting part about these releases is that they are Warner’s first DTS-enabled releases, following Universal’s suit and featuring an Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track as well as a DTS audio track on the same disc.

The first in the list are Lethal Weapon, Lethal Weapon 2 and Lethal Weapon 3, all presented in the extended Director’s Cuts of the movies with the theatrical trailer. Next up is Twister, also including a commentary track by director Jan De Bont and the movie’s visual effects supervisor. The disc will feature “The Making Of Twister,” “Anatomy Of The Twister,” the Van Halen music video “Humans Being,” the Shania Twain music video “No One Needs To Know,” as well as biographies and trailers.

The last in the line-up is a special edition of Neil Jordan’s atmospheric Interview With The Vampire. The disc will include an audio commentary by director Neil Jordan, the documentary “In The Shadow Of The Vampire,” production notes, production stills and a gallery of design sketches, an interview gallery, trailers and an introduction to the film by novelist Anne Rice and Neil Jordan.

All discs will carry a suggested retail price of $24.98 and contain anamorphic widescreen transfers of the movies.
