Family time with Anchor Bay Entertainment

As part of their licensing agreement with Disney Pictures, Anchor Bay Entertainment has just announced three more family oriented titles for release on DVD. The Great Locomotive Chase, The Castaway Cowboy and One Little Indian are scheduled for release on April 25, carrying a suggested retail price of $24.98.

“The Great Locomotive Chase” is the true-life historical adventure based on a real incident during the Civil War. It is the story of the Andrews“ Raiders, an incredible plot to break the back of the Civil War. The DVD will contain a non-anamorphic widescreen, as well as a fullframe transfer of the movie.

In “The Castaway Cowboy”, James Garner plays Lincoln Costain who is rescued from drowning by a 12-year old boy on the island of Kauai. As he helps the boy’s widowed mother, he must outwit a treacherous local witch doctor, turn a bunch of happy-go-lucky islanders into cowhands and head off a disastrous midnight stampede.

Then there is “One Little Indian”, starring James Garner and Jodie Foster, presented in widescreen. Facing the handman”’ noose for desertion and mutiny, an AWOL cavalry man is on the run in the New Mexico desert, but finds his escape complicated by a 10-year old runaway boy. When they encounter a pioneering widow and her daughter, the two must choose between aiding the fugitives or hindering their desperate flight.
