DVD International has signed a marketing agreement with 5.1 Entertainment Group to release a series of six-channel surround sound DVD titles. The first 15 titles – to be released under the Silverline Records label – will be available on March 28th at a suggested retail price of $19.98 each. The announcement was made by David Goodman, President, DVD International, and John Trickett, President/CEO, 5.1 Entertainment Group.

Each title in the Silverline Records line offers the ultimate sound and visual experience. The discs incorporate six channel audio, compelling visuals and easy to use menus, and support Dolby Digital and DTS formats. Additionally, Silverline DVDs play on all existing DVD players on the market as well as the DVD-Audio players coming later in the summer. The initial lineup of 15 DVD titles features an array of classical music pieces from two of the world’s greatest orchestras–The London Symphony and The London Philharmonic.
