Galaxy Quest will make its DVD Debut in May from Dreamworks

Dreamworks box office sleeper hit Galaxy Quest is coming to DVD on May 2. The science fiction comedy, starring Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman, will come with some special features, including an alien language track in the movie’s made-up Thermian language.

“Galaxy Quest” tells the story of a cast of actors from a long-cancelled science fiction television show that is unknowingly received by an alien race in outer space many years later. The aliens take it for gospel and practically make the actors their national heroes, and one day, when they need help, they turn to the cast of the television series “Galaxy Quest” to solve their problems. In a mild state of shock the actors learn that these are not disguised actors playing with set-pieces, but that all of a sudden, a real intergalactic war has knocked on their doors!

The DVD will carry a suggested retail price of $26.99 and contain a “Behind-The-Scenes” documentary and the movie’s trailer. If more details on this exciting release come in, we will certainly let you all know.
