USA Home Entertainment has just announced a release date for last year’s surprise hit Being John Malcovich.

The inventive movie tells the story of Craig, a puppeteer, played by John Cusack, who discovers that a door in his office allows him to enter the mind and life of actor John Malkovich for 15 minutes at a time. Quickly, the entrepreneurial puppeteer and his affair, Maxine, then try to turn this unique portal into a small business opportunity, selling trips in to Malkovich’s mind for $200.

The DVD is slated for a release on May 2 and carry a suggested retail price of $24.95. No further details about the release are available at this point, but we will keep you posted as new information becomes available.
