Anchor Bay schedules more Hammer Horror for March

Anchor Bay Entertainment has just scheduled a number of new titles for review on March 21, including some more entries in The Hammer Collection.

Quatermass 2, which is also known as “Enemy From Space” will come in a 16×9 enhanced widescreen version. During a routine drive to his observatory, Professor Quatermass stumbles upon a mysterious government facility surrounded by guards and mines. Curious of the unusual site, Quatermass begins to investigate and dicovers a remarkably large number of meteors in the area. As his investigation comes to a turning point, Quatermass comes to a horrific conclusion – alien invaders!

The second release in the Hammer Collection in March will be The Abominable Snowman, as well as Leslie Norman’s X: The Unknown, in which radioactive mud-like creature terrorizes a Scottish village during the 1950’s. Then, as another highlight in the collection comes Terence Fisher’s The Four-sided Triangle, a film about two friends who develop a “reproducer” that allows them to duplicate objects, including themselves.
