Boys Don’t Cry, the film that earned newcomer actress Hilary Swank an Oscar nomination yesterday, has appeared on 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment’s release schedules. The film will be released on DVD on April 18, day and date with its VHS release. As it will become standard practice for 20th Century Fox, the disc will contain a 16×9 enhanced widescreen presentation of the movie in its theatrical 1.85:1 aspect ratio with a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track and the original theatrical trailer. Sadly the price tag of $34.95 is a bit hefty still.
