Acorn Media has just announced two new titles for release from the popular television series Agatha Christie’s Poirot on February 1. Starring David suchet as Hercule Poirot, the most watched detective in the history of PBS’ Mystery! series, “Poirot” arrives on DVD to solve two cases.

The first one is The ABC Murders, where Poirot faces a baffling case of a murderer who announces his next victims through chilling letters sent to the detective himself. The second movie is Death In The Clouds, where it is murder in the skies on board a plane full of likely suspects. Unfortunately for the murderer, Hercule Poirot is also travelling on board, and he’s determined to slove the case.

Both discs will contain biographies, trivia, information about the Agatha Christie society and weblinks. The discs will carry a suggested retail price of $24.95 when they will be released on February 1.

Acorn plans to release additional feature-length Poirot TV movies on DVD in the future, so stay tuned for more information.
