Image Entertainment has acquired the DVD rights to Italian filmmaker
Pupi Avati’s acclaimed 1976 horror film The House With The Laughing Windows aka “La Casa Dalle Finestre Che Ridono”.

Never before available in the United States, the film has developed a cult following through word of mouth and foreign press coverage. Avati is a critically acclaimed filmmaker best known for his arthouse success “The Story Of Boys and Girls” , but he is also the director of two other highly-praised horror
films, “The Arcan Enchanter” and “Zeder”, which is also available on DVD/VHS from Image Entertainment.

“The House With The Laughing Windows” will be presented in its original aspect ratio, with removable English subtitles, and will be released on both DVD and VHS videocassette in mid-2000.
