DVD Express ships offline catalog and start holiday sweepstakes
DVD Express today launched its first off-line catalog and a $3 million “DVD EXPRESSway to Paradise” sweepstakes to kick off the holiday season. Featuring the tagline “Take Hollywood Home for the Holidays, ” DVD Express is distributing more than 2 million copies of its first off-line catalog in major market newspapers around the country, including the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Seattle Post Intelligencer, Dallas Morning News and Chicago Tribune, among others.
Developed in conjunction with major movie studios and leading home video distributors, including Columbia TriStar, Universal, Warner Home Video, Artisan, MGM, Fox, Paramount and Disney, the catalog features promotion of the hottest DVD titles this holiday season.
Additionally, the catalog spotlights deals on consumer electronics, video games, studio-licensed merchandise, movie music and home-entertainment-related accessories. It also features tips on how consumers can make their holiday shopping more efficient by utilizing special features at DVD Express. All orders from now through year-end will receive a scratch-and- win game piece. They can win a grand-prize Hawaiian vacation from Hawaiian Airlines and Outrigger Resorts; other prizes include Toshiba products such as Toshiba (SD6109C) DVD Player/Receivers, Toshiba (SD2109) DVD Video Players, Toshiba Spread Spectrum cordless phones, or a trial subscription to Game Fan magazine.
