Backing up their announcement to take most of their animated movies of moratorium, Disney Home Video just unveiled their release plans for these films during the coming year.

As we had announced earlier, Toy Story will mark the debut of the studio’s new Disney Gold Collection, arriving on DVD as early as January 11! The disc will contain a brand-new, all-digital transfer and the 1988 Academy Award TM – Winning Animated Short “Tin Toy”, the “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” Music Video As Featured On The Hit Toy Story soundtrack and a documentary called “The Making Of Toy Story”.

On February 1 we will then see a re-release of Mulan, while March 7 will offer a re-release of Pinocchio – this time with the “A Wish Come True: The Making of Pinocchio” documentary that was conspicuously missing from the previous release, although it appeared on the VHS release.
