As we had reported last week, Warner Home Video had planned a Tarantula race on Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard to celebrate the home video release of Wild Wild West. Well, it happened, and you can see the invasion of the live eight-legged furry spiders, too.

Aspiring movie and television insect trainers battled to the finish with their tarantula teammates for the chance to win a $500 scholarship to further their exotic animal and insect training education at the entertainment capital’s Moorpark College.
