Dreamworks SKG is out to raise some capital

According to a recent article from Stereophile Guide To Home Theater, Dreamworks SKG is currently pitching investment offers to Wall Street in an attempt to raise $525 million. The studio founded by Stephen Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and David Geffen intends to use the money mostly to refinance existing debts as well as to fund new productions. Given the studio’s excellent track record so far, and the overhwelming success of their blockbuster Saving Private Ryan, Dreamworks seems to find many interested parties to support their undertaking and is looked upon as a solid investment by many.
