Anna And The King will come to DVD in June. In an exclusive interesting piece of information, we have just received word that 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has set the day and date release of their upcoming retelling of the classic story that was the foundation for films like “The King And I” for June 6. This is a very interesting tidbit, as “Anna And The King” has yet to open in theaters in a few short weeks.

It is the story of the romance between the King of Siam and the widowed British schoolteacher Ana Leonowens during the 1860’s. In this renewed version of the film we will be able to witness Jodie Foster as Anna and Hong Kong superstar Chow Yun-Fat as the King of Siam under the direction of Andy Tennant in a lavish production from 20th Century Fox.

No details about this 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment release are known at this point, as the production on the DVD has not yet started, but as always, we will certainly keep you updated as things progress.
