Technicolor/Nimbus – DVD Ramp-Up in overdrive

To be prepared for the coming demand for DVD replication facilities, in August 1998 Technicolor and Nimbus CD International have merged in order to set up eight replication lines for a combined DVD manufacturing capacity of 80 million discs annually in the U.S. and in Europe, with plans to exceed the 100-million mark by the end of 2000.
