Warner Reprise starts up Depeche Mode: The Videos 86-89

Warner/Reprise Home Video is set to release Depeche Mode: The Videos 86-89, a 21-song retrospective compilation of the band’s greatest video hits over the past 12 years on DVD on October 5. The two-hour collection will be presented in linear PCM stereo for the finest sound quality.

It opens with interview footage of band members Martin Gore, David Gahan and Andrew Fletcher discussing the art of video-making and their past work with the home video’s director Anton Corbijn. Following the chronological order of the hits which marked the band’s meteoric rise to the top of pop music, “Depeche Mode: The Videos 86-89” features such classic tracks as: “Stripped,” “A Question Of Lust,” “A Question Of Time,” “Strangelove,” “Personal Jesus,” “Policy Of Truth,” “I Feel You” and “It’s No Good” among many others.

The disc also contains “Depeche Mode: A Short Film”, a rarely-seen 25-minute-long documentary.
