VCI Home Video is unveiling its November line-up

VCI Home Video is pulling out some older movies for release later this year. We have just received the details about VCI/Magic Lantern’s November line-up, slated for a November 30 release.

Queen Of The Stardust Ballroom is the first in the list, starring Maureen Stapleton and Charles Durning. It is a heartwarming story about the rediscovery of love. When Bea Asher is suddenly widowed, her comfortable life is
shattered but it all changes when she meets Charles Durning who teaches her not only how to dance…but how to love again.

Next up is Room At The Top in a letterboxed presentation, a brilliant British drama, with potent social commentary and a superb cast, portrays the story of a young man from a small mill town who claws his way to the top — any way he can!

A double-feature of Hi-Yo Silver! and The Legend Of The Lone Ranger is next on the list. “Hi-Yo Silver!” is the feature length version of “The Lone Ranger”– the classic 1938 Republic cliffhanger, and “The Legend of the Lone Ranger” a special feature compiled from the first three episodes of the
original TV series.

To Build A Fire, narrated by Orson Welles is also part of the line-up.
Jack London’s famous short story is filmed with complete fidelity to
London’s graphic narrative and could be called a screen short story in its
purest form.

All films will carry a $24.99 suggested retail price, with the exception of “To Build A Fire”, which will retail at $19.99.
