Shawshank Redemption delayed while the sharks circle the Deep Blue Sea

We have just gotten word that unfortunately the highly anticipated release of Warner Home Video’s The Shawshank Redemption had to be rescheduled from its October 28 release date. We do not have information why or what the new date will be, but as soon as more details become available we will let you know.

On the good side, Warner Home Video has currently slated Deep Blue Sea for a release n DVD on December 7. The disc will contain a few interesting extras that will take you behind the scenes of this prolific new take on the killer-shark genre film. The disc will feature a full-length audio commentary by director Renny Harlin and actor Samuel L. Jackson. It will also contain a number of deleted scenes, also with a commentary track. The HBO Special “When Sharks Attack!” will be part of the release, as well as an original documentary called “The Sharks Of The Deep Blue Sea”.
A still gallery and the film’s theatrical trailer will round off this interesting release that will hit the streetsat a suggested retail price of $24.98.
