Paramount is sending DVD to war with Apocalypse Now

On November 9, Paramount Home Video will take you into the heart of the Vietnam War in Francis Ford Coppola’s acclaimed 1979 anti-war drama Apocalypse Now. The disc will contain the film’s widescreen version in a 16×9 enhanced transfer.

Apocalypse Now is the odyssey of a special agent, played by Martin Sheen, who is sent to Cambodia to find and execute errant officer Kurtz, Marlon Brando. It is an intense study of the human mind in extreme situations and a provocative accusation of warfare in general.

The disc does not seem to contain any notable extras other than a theatrical trailer gathering from the information we have received.
