A Day at the races – DreamWorks hosts real chariot race on Hollywood Boulevard

To celebrate the home video release of their incredible The Prince of
Egypt, DreamWorks Home Entertainment
hosts the first-ever chariot race on
Hollywood Boulevard.,br>
The event takes place tomorrow morning, Tuesday September 14, from 7:30 to 9:00 am. Hollywood Boulevard, will be shut down to make way for these chariot races
for charity, replicating the heart-pounding chariot race from the Academy Award®-winning animated hit movie between the Cherokee and McCadden block. Egyptian chariots will charge through two blocks of the famed boulevard to raise more than $50,000 for The Eastside Boys and Girls’ Club of America, Children’s Action Network, LA’s Best and AIDS Project Los Angeles. The event will be hosted by Hollywood’s Honorary Mayor, Johnny Grant, and Hollywood Councilmember Jackie Goldberg will briefly address the crowd. Jeffrey Katzenberg, co-founder of DreamWorks SKG and executive producer of “The Prince of Egypt,” also will attend this traffic-stopping event.

If you’re in the area or on your way to work, make sure to stop by and check this out – and maybe you can send us some pictures fro mthe event. I am sure it’ll be a lot of fun.
