DVD Express announced today that it has named former CDnow executive, Jonas Gray as Vice President, Business & Strategic Development, a new position.

As pointed out in our Hotseat interview with DVD Express CEO Michael Dubelko some time ago, the company has long had plans to expand its business into other fields as well. The time seems at hand as newly appointed Jonas Gray will be responsible for developing the company’s strategy with regard to building its music store as well as creating partnerships to enhance the company’s online presence and overall brand recognition. Plans to also venture into the video and computer games field were also indicated.
