Columbia TriStar Home Video announces yet another three new titles

The good people at Columbia TriStar Home Video are restless these days and have added yet another three titles to their fall release schedule. Scheduled to hit retail on October 5, we will see the day & date release of The Thirteenth Floor as a special edition. The release will feature a commentary track with director Josef Rusnak and production designer Kirk M. Petrucelli. The virtual reality thriller will also contain a before-and-after special effects gallery, a conceptual art gallery DVD-ROM content and the music video “Erase/Rewind” by The Cardigans. “The Thirteenth Floor” will be presented in a pan & scan and an anamorphic widescreen presentation and contain English Dolby Surround and 5.1 Dolby Digital soundtracks with English subtitles.

Another day & date release on October 5 is This Is My Father starring Aidan Quinn and James Caan. The disc will contain a commentary track with director Paul Quinn and actors Aidan Quinn, James Caan, Stephen Rea and John Cusack. The film will be presented in a 16×9 enhanced widescreen presentation and contain a 5.1 Dolby Digital soundtrack in English, as well as a Dolby Surround track in French. Subtitles in English, French and Spanish will be available.

Next up in the release line-up is Roberto Benigni’s The Monster, a film of mistaken identity, written directed and acted by Roberto Benigni. The release will contain a pan & scan and an anamorphic widescreen transfer and feature Dolby Surround soundtracks in Italian and English, and feature subtitles in English, French and Spanish. All three discs carry a suggested retail price of $24.95.
