According to Peter Bracke over at the DVD File Lucasfilm has just informed him that “Star Wars” will indeed make it to DVD this Christmas! Unfortunately no details are available at this point other than this surprise offering by a Lucasfilm representative.

No matter whether it will be the entire trilogy, episode 1 only or all of the parts in the series, this is great news for all Star Wars fans… including ourselves! Hopefully more information will become available soon to satiate everyone’s hunger the details on this release.
