James Bond is coming back to DVD in October

Starting October 19, MGM Home Video will take the James Bond titles off moratorium and start re-releasing titles on both VHS and DVD. To celebrate the studio’s 75th Anniversary, MGM will give all 19 James bond films the special edition treatment for their home video release.

To manage the load of titles, MGM decided to schedule three separate release waves for the Bond pictures, starting with Tomorrow Never Dies, Goldeneye, Live And Let Die, Thunderball, For Your Eyes Only, Goldfinger and License To Kill.

All other titles, including the latest Band film The World Is Not Enough which will hit theaters in November, will be released by the end of next year. Priced at $34.95, the discs will contain new documentaries, specially created for the DVD releases, commentary tracks, featurettes, storyboards, music videos, trailers and more, all nicely wrapped up with sophisticated user interfaces.

We will keep you posted as more information comes in.
