The latest update from Sony Music

Unfortunately Sony Music just informed us that there are more problems with the Gloria Estefan release Everlasting Gloria. The disc has once again been delayed and is now re-scheduled for a June 1 release. To make the wait a little easier however, Sony Music is on schedule to ship their DVD, Mariah Carrey Around The World on April 27.

Sony Music is also planning to releases titles from The Offspring, Charlotte Church, Johnny Cash & Willie Nelson, and Celine Dion later this summer, as well as more releases of programs from MTV and VH-1. A follow-up to the critically-acclaimed Best of Sessions at West 54th is also in the works according to a Sony Music spokesperson.

John Denver’s The Wildlife Concert, which was first announced early last year ago is now finally back on their release schedule for a July release.

Now for the great news. Sony Music has finally officially announced Pink Floyd’s The Wall for release in the fourth quarter. This disc had been unofficially announced by various attached parties, but now the publisher has come forward with the information. We will keep you posted with information as more information on the features and extras becomes available. At this point these elements have not been decided upon. The title will be released under the
Columbia Music Video label.
