Universal Home Video just announced the return of Babe, the lovable orcine hero with a heart of gold in Babe: Pig In The City on May 4. Coming on a dual-layer DVD at a suggested retail price of $29.98, the disc will contain a 16×9 enhanced widescreen transfer and a pan&scan version of the film, as well as a specially designed screen saver for DVD-ROM owners. The disc will contain 5.1 Dolby Digital soundtracks in English and French.

In “Babe: Pig In The City”, Babe accompanies his human owner, Mrs. Hoggett, to a storybook city in a faraway land for a paid personal appearance to save Farmer Hoggett’s farm.
