A look at Spielberg’s “1941” and more DTS releases to come

Universal Home Video have just announced another 4 DTS discs, ready for
release on February 23. Once again, all these discs are already available in
their Dolby Digital format from Universal and are now to be re-released with a DTS
soundtrack to satisfy even the most demanding audio afficionados.
Priced at
$34.95 these discs come at a $10 premium over the Dolby Digital releases and
contain exactly the same features. The titels to be released are Babe, The Shadow,
The Little Rascals
and The River Wild. Babe and The Shadow will be
presented in full frame versions, while The Little Rascals and The River Wild
will contain 16×9 enhanced widescreen transfers, just as the previous releases.

We have also received the cover artwork for Universal’s upcoming release of
Steven Spielberg’s “1941”, slated for release on February 23 in a Director’s Cut
Collector’s Edition. The disc contains a large number of extras, including rare
home videos and behind-the-scenes footage from Steven Spielberg’s personal library.
