“Interactivity” features an extensive article on Dolby sound formats

The multimedia and technology magazine “Interactivity” features a good article
about the different Dolby sound formats in quite some detail in its November issue. It not only explores
the history and development of the format specifications, but also how Dolby Digital
soundtrack can be produced using rather conventional equipment. The article is
also rounded up with some technical information on the AC-3 encoding technology,
as well as comprehensive comparisons to other audio formats, both theater and home theater standards.

Thanks to our reader Mats Hammarstedt we are also able to direct you to an online version of the article, located on Interactivity’s website. Click here to take a closer look.
