We have just received word that Universal Home Video is currently preparing the
DVD release of their latest installment in the “Chucky” series, “Bride Of Chucky”. The
film was this fall’s surprise smash box office hit, raking in $11.8 mio during
its opening weekend. Directed by veteran Hong Kong filmmaker Ronny Yu, “Bride Of
Chucky” wowed audiences with stunning visuals, as well as some good humor, mixed
with a good bag of horror.

No definitive release date has been announced for the disc yet, but our source
tells us that the DVD will come as one of Universal’s acclaimed “Collector’s
Editions”. We would expect the DVD to hit the streets day & date with its VHS
counterpart, so keep your eyes open for a release announcement.
