Warner announce first titles at $14.95 price point

As we have reported some time ago, Warner is agressively lowering prices on their DVD releases. Now Warner Home Video introduce their $14.95 line-up. The discs are more targeted at a mainstream consumers than home theater owners, which becomes obvious in their lack of supplements and the fact that all releases are pan&scan and do not contain Dolby Digital soundtracks or subtitles, making the titles comparable to their counter VHS releases. The list contains a number of comedies, such as Doc Hollywood, Protocol, Stroker Ace or Lovesick, as well as a number of Action films.
