HBO Home Video are currently preparing a special four-disc DVD set of their television miniseries “From The Earth To The Moon” that will be exclusively released on DVD on November 10. “From The Earth To The Moon” was produced and directed by Tom Hanks and received no less than 17 Emmy nominations. It has also been selected for the Television Critics Association’s – Show Of The Year Award. This unique DVD disc set will contain all episodes of the program, covering the complete history of the fabulous race into space. Coming on three RSDL discs with a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack, the box will also contain a DVD-ROM compatible disc with additional supplements like a “Making Of” featurette, interviews with the stars and filmmakers of the series and much more. Coming with a 5.1 Dolby Digital soundtrack. The complete box with over 12 hours of film will carry a suggested retail price of $119.98. The release will be tied in with a big marketing campaign that mostly focusses on print media and other tie ins.
