Warner prepare major European rollout

Pleased with their initial efforts in Europe, Warner Home Video have just announced today that they will start a major DVD rollout of 25 new titles on September 25, following them up with an additonal eight to ten titles every month. Warner is also partnering with Phillips Consumer Electronics on joint television and print advertising, DVD demonstrations in key retail outlets and a DVD player rental program. Here then is the list of the titles hitting European shelves on September 25. Addicted To Love, All The President’s Men, Batman, Body Heat, Bonnie & Clyde, The Bridges Of Madison County, Bullitt, The Color Purple, Conspiracy Theory, Contact, Dog Day Afternoon, Father’s Day, The Fugitive, The Getaway, Interview With The Vampire, Jeremiah Johnson, Michael Collins, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Outland, The Pelican Brief, The Postman, The Right Stuff, The Specialist, Tequila Sunrise and Unforgiven. Conspiracy Theory and The Postman will hit the streets day and date with their VHS counterparts.
Warner are also preparing the follow up releases already, which will include Assassins, The Devil’s Advocate, Fallen, L.A. Confidential, Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil, Space Jam, Sphere, Blazing Saddles, Dirty Harry, Amadeus, The Lost Boys, Goodfellas, City Of Angels, Beetlejuice, Private Benjamin, The Searchers, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, Murder At 1600 and U.S. Marshals.
