Outside their regular accumulated monthly release announcements, Image Entertainment just announced plans to release Dreamscape on June 6. This 1984 film starring Dennis Quaid, Max von Sydow, Christopher Plummer and Kate Capshaw shows us how a government funded project tries to influence people’s dreams to help the President get rid of his own nightmares. When one subject dies in his sleep from a heart attack Alex Gardner is alarmed and suspects that there is more behind the dream-project than meets the eye.

“Dreamscape” will come in an anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen transfer with a DTS and a 5.1 Dolby Digital audio track on the same disc. It will contains a “Behind-the-scenes” documentary, a photo gallery and the movie’s theatrical trailer, and possibly even a commentary track if everything goes according to schedule.
