We just got information that Starz Home Entertainment is throwing their support behind the Blu-Ray format. While the name Starz may not ring a bell immediately after a number of acquisitions etc., in plain English we are talking about Anchor Bay!

At the DVD Conference yesterday Bill Clark, president of Starz Home Entertainment, announced that the studio will release the Masters Of Horror: Season 1 on Blu-Ray later this year. Surely other releases will follow and one can only dream of great things such as “Halloween”, “Hellraiser” or the Hammer movies in high definition.

No exact details or specs are available yet but as soon as things materialize we will certainly let you know right away!
