Before HBO ruled the airwaves, their original series still knew how to tell a good tale. Dream On makes it to DVD with the first two seasons in a box set from Universal Home Entertainment.

Martin Tupper is a book editor, father and fantasizer — whose dysfunctional dating life is punctuated by moments of sinfully hilarious cinematic daydreams. With a quirky, headstrong secretary barking orders, an inquisitive teenage son, a womanizing best friend and an ex who’s never fully exited his life, Martin is way overdue for a crash-course on the opposite sex.

The set doesn’t seem to have any features, but will feature all the episodes from the first two years on five discs. The set will arrive on October 12th with a $39.95 suggested retail price.
