Samurai Jack Gets a Box Set

Genndy Tartakovsky is the hot animator today. Warner Home Video is preparing the first season of his breakthrough cartoon series Samurai Jack.

This is the tale of a young samurai cast far into a high-tech future by the evil shape-shifting wizard Aku. Jack’s only goal is to find a time portal so that he may return home to liberate his people from the terrible sorcerer and his demon forces that rule the world. Join Samurai Jack on the solitary warrior’s quest to return to the past and undo the destruction that Aku has wrought upon the land. A man of few words, Jack relies on his training as a warrior, combining intellect, restraint and physical strength, to help him along the way.

The two-disc set will contain all 13 episodes of the first season along with the featurette The Making of Samurai Jack, an audio commentary, original artwork, never before seen footage and trailers.

With a suggested retail price of $29.98, the set will arrive on May 4th.
