27 Dresses
20th Century Fox Home Entertainment

Here is another romantic comedy that is so full of stereotypes that it hurts. Poorly conceived and executed "27 Dresses" is just an overall disappointment.
Untraceable
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment

Dark, brooding, intense and unsettling! That is what describes "Untraceable." One of the great entries in the genre, this film will have you on the edge of your seat, no doubt.
The Golden Compass
New Line Home Entertainment

Overshadowed by rants and controversy, "The Golden Compass" sadly never had the chance to live up to its potential at the box office. Fortunately however, it has a second life on home video and it looks every bit as good as you could hope for.
Hitman
20th Century Fox Home Entertainment

Turning a video game into a movie is traditionally a bad idea. Chris ventured out to see how the shooter franchise "Hitman" made its cut and the result is a mixed bag, as expected.
Steep
20th Century Fox Home Entertainment

Following the exploits of a series of extreme skiers as the descend some of the highest and most dangerous mountains, this film shows not only how dangerous this sport is, but also how people rationalize the seeming insanity of it.
Juno
20th Century Fox Home Entertainment

Smart and funny, touching and witty, "Juno" has captured the hearts of viewers and it is now available in high definition for everyone to enjoy.
Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment

Walk Hard is filled with Judd Apatow's and Jake Kasdan's sense of humor in this fake biopic that parodies the genre like none has before.
Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment

Funny but not funny enough, this send-off on "Walk The Line" loses sight of its goal at times. The result is a film that is entertaining but could have been better.
Appleseed:Ex Machina
Warner Home Video

An animated Japanese movie, inspired by John Woo's style, this science fiction story has a lot going for it, but also some bad sides as Chris Thompson found out when he checked out the Blu-Ray version of the film.
Fireplace: Visions of Tranquility
DVD International

Designed as an ambient effect, releases like "Fireplace" can indeed conjure up a certain atmosphere with tier peaceful footage and gentle music, but no matter how you turn it, nothing beats the scent and warmth of real burning logs.
