This is an animated GIF of the Opening sequence of side 1 of the Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition. Due to the limitations of animated GIF images, it looks not nearly as good as the original images, but I think you’ll get the idea.

Here is a look at the opening sequence for side 2 of the DVD, which will play once when you insert the disc in your player. Once again the theme is beautifully capturing the movie’s feel and it almost seems as if actual footage from the film was used. “No, it’s all 3D,” Van explains. “We modeled and created everything you see in this sequence from scratch, from the flying Hunter-Killer to the Skynet bunker and the landscape in the background. There is a lot of CGI dust in this scene to make it look more realistic as well. It is a sequence that runs for over 20 seconds and takes you into the Skynet bunker and down a tunnel to the main menu, which is a closed door.”
