In 1998 Rosemary had the chance to see the talented Bacon Brothers during a performance at the Planet Hollywood in Toronto, Ontario. She got the exclusvie tickets from a friend who won at a local radio contest. Interestingly, Rosemary had never seen a film of Kevin Bacon before meeting him but was impressed with his songmanship. “The Bacon Brothers regaled us with great anecdotes,” she remember, “and songs from their new album that had just been released while we dined. Then we met them in person for a chat and photo opportunity after a wonderful luncheon. Later that evening, my friend and I danced the night away at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern to the music of the Bacon Brothers, who sounded a bit like our Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo and Moxy Fruvous, all blended together!”
Needless to say that Rosemary has since turned into one of Kevin’s biggest fans and devoured many of his movies! thanks for sharing this great encounter with all of us! |
