Every year thousands of fans make a pilgrimage to Montreal for the Fant-Asia Film Festival to see the coolest international films, many of which may never make it to domestic theaters. With a friend, our reader Janick Neveu was waiting in line to get into one of the movie presentations, when he heard that Hong Kong actor Lau Ching-Wan had passed by just a few minutes earlier.

“He was there to present Running Out Of Time on one of the days and must have been checking out the city,” Janick remembers. As luck would have it, Lau Ching-Wan passed by again, and he had the chance to meet him and to take a picture with the charming superstar. “Wow, I never expected to ever meet a Hong Kong movie star,” Janick tells us excitedly.
