In May 1998, Kris and Amber were vacationing in Vancouver.The next morning they noticed several trucks and trailers in the parking lot across the street and we decided to check it out. At one of the trailers they noticed a familiar face, Mitch Pileggi who plays “Skinner” in the X-Files TV series.

“I just suddenly crossed the street and walked up to him with my hand outstretched and said, "Hi, my name is Amber, I'm from Portland, Oregon, too!", knowing that Portland is the city that Mitch was born in. “He smiled graciously and talked with us and eventually he had his body guard pull out Skinner promotional photos from FOX and signed them for us then and there.” Amber remembers vividly. “From there we walked down the next block to where they were filming for the episode "The Pine Bluff Variant".

Well, and once again, it proves that a good pick-up line can get you a long way. Great shot girls, and thanks for sharing this story for us. I’m off to Vancouver now...
