You have just released the Hammer classic “Dracula: Prince Of Darkness”. Why did you decide not to release the series in a chronological order, which would have started with “Horror Of Dracula”?
“Horror Of Dracula” is under license to Warner Brothers. Only “Prince Of Darkness” and “Satanic Rites” are ours.

Anchor Bay’s discs do not display a time code like releases from other publishers. Why exactly is that?
Beginning with “Day Of The Dead”, time codes will be used on all of our DVDs. The omission was just simply a bad early decision.

What is the reason Anchor Bay releases titles solely on double-sided discs as opposed to dual layered discs?
Early on, all the manufacturing plants told us that dual layered DVDs were temperamental on many players. Since we weren’t looking for more obstacles we said we would do double sided DVDs instead.

Is there a chance we will see a re-release of “Dawn Of The Dead” anytime soon, which will come on a RSDL disc so that you don’t have to flip the disc over in mid-film?
“Dawn Of The Dead” could have been a single sided, single layer disc, but for optimum picture and sound, we chose the double sided DVDs as the format. The ‘theatrical’ version of “Dawn Of The Dead” will be released as a RSDL disc, since the manufacturing process today is infinitely better than just 6 months ago.

Which one has been Anchor Bay’s most successful DVD release so far?
“Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn”

Can you give us a brief outlook into what DVD owners can expect from Anchor Bay in 1999?
“The Black Hole”, “Return To Oz”, “Two Lane Black Top”, “Phenomena”, “Tenebrae” and so much more it is hard to believe.
